Quiet in the Coffee Shop

I stopped at the local coffee shop and had a discussion with the barista about how they were having problems with their internet and which service they had selected. One provider wanted to push the bundle. When asked what their patrons would do without television in the venue, she had apparently responded "talk to each other?"

I appreciate the coffee shops for not having CNN or sports in their locations usually. Especially the local guys. The worst thing I find in Eat N Park, Sheetz and the like are sitting down to enjoy a meal or my company, and being distracted by a television that probably doesn't have anything pleasant on it to begin with.

Thank you coffee shops for helping us connect to the people around us still.
