Fishing Without Bait 296: Coming to America Medical Residency with Fatima Rumesa

Jim Ellermeyer is joined by Fatima Rumesa who is in residency training at psychiatry in New York City.  We talk about her upbringing in Pakistan before coming to the United States for schooling. What was the process for her to come over to the United States?  What is the difference in mental health perception between here and Pakistan and the pushback she received deciding to go into the field?   What is it like for a medical resident?

Stay tuned for more with Fatima Rumesa next week!
